Commissions
Every commission begins with a relaxed conversation.
I create original paintings and sculptures for private clients: landscapes, interiors, florals, portraits and pet portraits. Size, support and timeframe are agreed before the painting starts.
How a commission unfolds
- Conversation
We talk about the space, the light, the subject, and any of my existing works that have the atmosphere, colour or subject you are envisioning. Nature’s Whisper began that way, Inspired by original artwork, Earth’s Heartbeat. - Quote and agreement
You receive a written quote and a simple contract covering size, medium, timing, payment stages and what happens if the direction needs to change. Work does not begin until this is signed and a 50% deposit paid. - Concepts
I will prepare a short booklet of concept studies — usually three directions — each with a design intent, a colour note and an overall feeling. You choose the path. The chosen concept provides the foundation, this allows the painting to remain original and authentically unique.
The final work is developed on canvas or Belgian linen. I keep you informed as the artwork progresses. - The finished work
You receive the painting and a making-of booklet. The original is yours. Copyright stays with the artist unless we agree otherwise limited edition prints may be offered. Exclusivity will be an added charge of 25% This charge does not apply to portraits, No people portraits will be made available to the public.
